Serving the community is one of the many priorities of Columbia鈥檚 student body. Throughout the year, students participate in numerous fundraising initiatives and learn about the diverse needs of the Hamilton community.

The聽is one of the many local organizations Columbia students support. students and staff participate in a Walk-a-thon to raises funds and awareness for the organization. This year, Columbia students and staff set a new record by raising a total of聽$11,040.95, for the Hospital.

Last week, members of Columbia鈥檚 staff 鈥�Mr. Tim Putt, Head of Senior School and聽Ms. Sherry Thompson, Administrative Assistant to the Principal- met with Hospital staff to present the donation. Hospital staff were thrilled to accept the donation and thanked the Columbia community for their continued support in making a difference in the lives of children.

Mac Kids Miracle Weekend Columbia presented the donation during the聽聽鈥� a weekend dedicated to collecting donations to support the 鈥渢he costs to upgrade and purchase new medical equipment and fund programs that improve the lives of children across this region.鈥�

Columbia students also participated in the weekend events, volunteering at the聽聽at Hamilton鈥檚 Pier 4 Park on May 31.
